Racial Traits


Standard Traits (14 CP)

  • Type: Legaren are primanoids with the legaren subtype.
  • Size: Legaren are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
  • Base Speed: Legaren have a base speed of 30 feet.
  • Languages: Legaren begin play speaking one regional Legarish language. Legaren with high Intelligence scores can choose a regional language from the following: Elvish, Gnomish, Gnollish, Human, Kitish, Legarish, and Skrivish. Feat and Skill Racial Traits

  • Camouflage: Legaren are able to blend into the type of terrain they grew up in, and gain a racial bonus equal to their total Hit Dice to Stealth checks in one of the following terrains: cold, desert, forest, jungle, mountain, or plains. (1 CP)
  • Chaser: Legaren receive the Endurance feat for free. (2 CP)
  • Natural Hunter: Legaren receive a racial bonus equal to their total Hit Dice on Perception and Survival checks. (4 CP)
  • Tail: Legaren have a tail, which grants a +1 racial bonus to Acrobatics checks. (1 CP)

Offense Racial Traits

  • Natural Weapons: Legaren have stronger and more developed jaw and teeth, and have a bite natural attack that deals 1d6 points of damage. At 7th Hit Die, and every 7 HD after, the bite's damage increases by 1 size. (2 CP)

Senses Racial Traits

  • Low-Light Vision: Legaren have low-light vision allowing them to see twice as far as humans in dim light. (1 CP)
  • Scent: Legaren have a keen sense of smell, and gain the scent ability. (3 CP)

Alternate Racial Traits

  • Wolf Claws: Some legaren have stronger and more developed claws than other members of their race, and can use them to make attacks. Legaren with this racial trait have 2 claws they can use as natural weapons. These claws are primary attacks that deal 1d4 points of damage. This racial trait replaces natural hunter. (4 RP)
