- Type: Kitsune are primanoids with the shapechanger and vulpine subtypes.
- Size: Kitsune are Medium creatures and thus have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
- Speed: Kitsune have a base speed of 30 feet.

Feat and Skill Racial Traits
- Agile: Kitsune are nimble and have a tail, and gain a racial bonus equal to their total Hit Dice on Acrobatic checks. (2 CP).
Magical Racial Traits
- Change Shape: As a supernatural ability, a kitsune can assume the appearance of a specific single human form of the same sex. The kitsune always takes this specific form when she uses this ability. A kitsune in human form cannot use her bite attack, but gains a +10 racial bonus on Disguise checks made to appear human. Changing shape is a standard action. This ability otherwise functions as alter self, except that the kitsune does not adjust her ability scores and can remain in this form indefinitely. (3 CP)
- Kitsune Magic: Kitsune add a racial bonus equal to half of their total Hit Dice to the DC of any saving throws against illusion spells that they cast. Kitsune also can also use the following spell-like abilities a number of times per day equal to their total HD: dancing lights, spark, and jolt. They use their total HD as their caster level. (5 CP)
Offense Racial Traits
- Bite: Kitsune have a bite natural attack that deals 1d6 points of damage. At 7th Hit Die, and every 7 HD after, the bite's damage increases by 1 size. (2 CP)
Senses Racial Traits
- Low-Light Vision: Kitsune can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light. At 7th Hit Die, they can see three times as far, and at 14th, they can see four times as far, and so on every 7 HD after. (1 CP)
Alternate Physical Traits
- Fast Shifter: You were born with an innate talent for switching between your natural forms. You gain Swift Kitsune Shapechanger as a bonus feat, ignoring its prerequisite. You also reduce the casting time of any polymorph spell that you cast targeting only on yourself by 1 act (to a minimum of a free action). If you gain the wild shape ability, you immediately gain Quick Wild Shape as a bonus feat, ignoring its prerequisites. This racial trait replaces kitsune magic. (5 CP)
- Skilled: Some kitsune focus on diversifying their skill set in order to better blend in with their human peers. They gain an additional skill rank at 1st Hit Die and one additional rank whenever they gain a HD. They also get one free skill proficiency increase at 1st HD, and again at 5th HD and every five HD after. This racial trait replaces agile. (3 CP)
- Superior Shapeshifter: Some talented kitsune take more naturally to shapeshifting than magic, and develop that gift. They gain Fox Shape and Realistic Likeness as bonus feats at 1st level, ignoring their prerequisites. They also gain a racial bonus equal to half of their total Hit Dice against polymorph spells. This racial trait replaces kitsune magic. (5 CP)
Cultural Traits
- Duplicitous: Many kitsune prefer to avoid the attention they often attract from human neighbors and attempt to convince all around them that they are human. They gain a racial bonus equal to their Total Hit Dice on Bluff checks against humans, and Disguise is always a class skill for them. (2 CP)
- Gregarious: Even among your own kind, your gift for making friends stands out. Whenever you successfully use Diplomacy to win over an individual, that creature takes disadvantage to resist any of your Charisma-based skill checks for a number of days equal to your Total Hit Die. (2 CP)
- Multilingual: Although most kitsune start knowing only one human language, some quickly learn other human languages in order to give themselves an edge when dealing with humanity. When these kitsune buys a rank in Linguistics, then learn a human language in addition to the new language, and they gain a racial bonus equal to their Total Hit Dice on Linguistics checks. (2 CP)
- Nine-Tailed Scion: Your upbringing focused on training your kitsune magic. You gain a racial bonus on caster level checks for your racial spell-like abilities as well as those from the Magical Tail feat. Additionally, you can select Magical Tail as a bonus feat whenever your favored class grants you a bonus bloodline feat, combat feat, or metamagic feat instead of the normal type of feat granted by that class. You cannot exchange specific feats granted by a class or race for Magical Tail in this manner; for instance, a monk cannot exchange his Stunning Fist feat for Magical Tail. (2 CP)
