Maintaining a grapple is second nature to you.
Prerequisites
Dex 13, Improved Unarmed Strike.
Benefit
You receive a +4 bonus on checks made to grapple a foe. You also receive a +4 bonus to your Combat Maneuver Defense whenever an opponent tries to grapple you.
If you have a base attack bonus of +4 or higher, once you have grappled a creature, maintaining the grapple is a simple action. This feat allows you to make up to three grapple checks each round (to move, harm, or pin your opponent), but you are not required to make a check for each. You only need to succeed at one of these checks to maintain the grapple.
If you have a base attack bonus of +6 or higher, when attempting a chokehold while pinning a foe, you may attempt to compress the blood flow instead of the airways, making holding one's breathe useless. Your opponent must immediately make a DC 15 constitution check at the beginning of their turn or begin to suffocate. The check must be repeated each round, with the DC increasing by +1 for each previous success. When your opponent fails one of these Constitution checks, they begin to suffocate. In the first round, they fall unconscious (0 hit points). In the following round, they drop to –1 hit points and are dying. In the third round, they suffocate. Any creature that does not breathe, is immune to bleed damage, or is immune to critical hits is immune to the effects of your chokehold. When the grapple is ended, so is the chokehold.
Normal
Maintaining a grapple is a standard action.
