Vandar is the god of duty, the patron of protectors, the ever vigilant. He watches over those who dedicate their lives to protecting others. He blesses those who adhere to their duty no matter what obstacles come in their way. He stands by those who are ever vigilant and ready against the presence of evil.

Vandar is worshipped strongly among dwarves. Many police forces offer up a prayer to him, or even have a shrine dedicated to them in their precinct. Outposts guarding the frontier and wardens of prisons also have shrines or priests assigned to them.
