Intermediate Deity

The first of the demon lords to have achieved true divinity, Orcus brings with him the destruction and horrors of the Abyss. He is a gluttonous god, always greedy for more power. He is the god of destructive and painful deaths. He revels in inflicting suffering upon others and destroying their creations. In his realm in the Abyss, he takes immense pleasure in torturing the souls that are in his possession.

History

Orcus was one of the oldest demons, and one of the first to achieve the rank of lord. He was also of the few demons powerful enough to decree themselves as 'Prince of Demons'. However, for Orcus, this was not enough. The insatiably ambitious demon was obsessed with gaining more power. Achieving godhood was his next step.

The Faithful

Orcish myths state that it was Orcus himself that created the race of orcs as his chosen people.
